This site loads Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra ads by default, shows a banner that says so, and turns all three off when you press Reject.

Controller: the operator of aotrvalue.org. Contact [email protected]. This policy was updated on 6 Nov 2026; material changes will show a new date here. It covers the whole site, including /values/, /calculator/ and the guide pages.

The banner and your choice. The site stores a localStorage key, aotr_consent, with a choice of granted or denied and an expiry approximately 180 days ahead. A first visit stores granted; pressing Reject stores denied. The record remembers your choice until it expires or you clear site data. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are treated as Reject.

Default loading. With no stored choice the site loads Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra on the first page view, before any click on the banner. The banner is a notice and a withdrawal control, not a gate: pressing Reject is what turns these scripts off, and that refusal is remembered for 180 days. This is the same default-on basis described in the site's consent implementation, and the ad signals in Google Consent Mode follow the same choice.

Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, Google Ireland Ltd). The tag is G-YB5PF91CXK, loaded from googletagmanager.com, and reports to google-analytics.com. It may use _ga and _ga_ cookies to distinguish browsers and count page views, sessions and approximate geography. Press Reject here to disable the tag on subsequent page loads.

Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation). Project z9cn2mjfem, loaded from clarity.ms, provides session replays, heatmaps and interaction measurements. It may use cookies including _clck, _clsk, CLID, ANONCHK, MUID and SM, and local storage for session state. Reject stops the tag on subsequent page loads.

Adsterra (Adsterra Network, publisher id 3403020, website id 6179853). Two placements are configured: NativeBanner_1 (unit 32123356) and SocialBar_1 (unit 32123357). Their invoker scripts load from bicea.org; advertising providers may load creatives and use their own cookies. Adult ads are disabled in the site configuration. If you close the Social Bar, the site stores aotr_ads_bar_closed for 180 days so it is not requested again until that expires or you press Accept in Cookie settings. Adsterra controls the retention of its own cookies.

Personalised advertising and opt-outs. You can turn off personalised Google ads at https://adssettings.google.com/ and personalised ads from many other networks at https://www.youronlinechoices.com/ or https://optout.aboutads.info/. Microsoft's controls are at https://account.microsoft.com/privacy. Opting out does not stop ads; it stops interest-based selection. Pressing Reject on this site removes the Adsterra placements altogether until you change the choice.

YouTube (Google LLC). Some guide pages show a video as a still image with a Play button. Nothing is requested from youtube.com until you press Play; that click creates an iframe to youtube.com (or youtube-nocookie.com) and Google may set its own cookies under its policy. Purpose: show the cited video. Legal basis: your click. We never receive a copy of those cookies. Retention is Google's.

Other requests. Fonts are files on this host, the Roblox and wiki links are ordinary outbound links, and the host that serves the site keeps standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested path) for security and capacity. There is no other analytics, session-replay, tag manager, AdSense or smartlink product on this site. Adsterra is the only ad network.

Your rights. You can ask for a copy of what this policy covers, ask us to correct a statement, object to the consent record, or ask what personal data is held about you by email at [email protected]. You can delete aotr_consent and aotr_ads_bar_closed yourself in your browser's site-data settings, which resets the banner to its default. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Cookie settings in the footer reopens the banner at any time.
